JSC (Jodo Shinshu Center)

Purpose
At the beginning of the 21st century, Ryukoku University established the Long-term Plan IV (2000-2009) to realize its vision of becoming a gGlocal University seeking Symbiosis Harmonyh. This Plan epitomizes the Universityfs mission to create a first-rate education and research system to groom the next generation of talents for the world.

As part of this Plan, Ryukoku University established RUBeC in JSC, North America to expand international relations and to promote globalization further.

This base is used to create a culturally-rich study environment supporting student exchange programs and international research activities. It also has accommodation facilities (for teaching staff etc.) and other infrastructure to assist various Ryukoku University educational departments in RUBeC.
